what a sad society we live in when it is “news” that magic mushrooms are therapeutic.

people are so out of control of their own lives, they can’t be bothered to experience something for themselves unless the news tells them to.

I think we should use the lessons and the framework that these substances teach in combination with this well documented scientific data from the world’s leading educational institutions to dispel the myths that culture and the media have promoted for the last 40 years. Its not a “sad society,” but one that needs a lot of help. These consciousness tools are well equipped to provide that help. Any news that puts these substances in a positive light is good news. It puts them one step closer to being legally and responsibly used by more people, which will absolutely have a positive effect on society.

Its not that people “can’t be bothered to experience something for themselves unless the news tells them too…” Most people are just busy with life. They have jobs and kids and usually don’t want to break laws, especially major ones like schedule 1 drug laws. To make matters worse, many grew up thinking these things were harmful and turned you crazy. Obviously they have been misinformed. This new is good news though.

And I am actually a part of this study they reference right now and everyone involved knows exactly what they are doing and how important their work is. We need more of this study going on so that everyone understands both the science and the spirituality.
