Caught in the Game - Motion Sensor Soundtrack

i wrote and recorded this today. Dare I say its kind of a happy song…what? A happy song? from me…no….can’t be. Its the banjo…it puts me in a good mood. It’s impossible to play the banjo and be unhappy. I should become a full time banjo player i think.

Happy Saturday

Some samples of some other types of music we’ve made. We got a bunch of trip hop type tracks, some instrumental ambient stuff, and some louder electric stuff too.  We’ll hear that here. We got some bluegrass, some folk, some rock, some indie…whatever you want to call it. It’s music.

Music’s in my blood…my heart beats the rhythm.

I think I am going to live in space.Weightless, floating around and trippy landscapes .For the first time an infant neutron star has been been observed (blue dot in the centre of the image). The neutron star which is located in the “Cassiopeia A” supernova was photographed by the The Chandra X-ray Observatory. It is the latest stunning image to come from this telescope which has lasted twice as long as its original mission run of five years

fucking wow. I just got caught staring at that for way too long. Its like the eye from those moving picture shows with the gay hobbits. This might be the best picture from space ever (except for that one of the astronaut playing golf on the moon, of course…that’s a keeper)

I’ve had dreams about flying jellyfish. only they are huge. like this would be the size of a building. In the dreams I look up and have a view similar to this…but its rarely that sunny. It usually has a bad vibe to it…everybody’s panicking. And it smells wet out…like its about to rain or flood something fierce. dreams are weird.

People with guns kill people. Most people with guns never imagine they ever will but many do.

People with guns can end up killing themselves, family or people they know when they are angry, sad, scared, unstable, drunk or drugged up.

People with guns get them stolen and or used against them or in other crimes and murders.

People with guns have them found by children who, even with gun education and stern warnings, don’t always make the best decisions and kill themselves or their siblings or friends.

People with guns have “accidents” and spray their hunting partners in the face with buckshot or shoot themselves in the leg at nightclubs.

People with guns are often people who should not have guns. People with guns who think they are not that type of person could very well be the type of person who should not have a gun. All it takes is one loose cabinet lock, one extra drink, one cheating wife, one boss firing you, one psychotic break, one moment of fear or absolute depression and you or someone you know is suddenly a person with a gun that killed someone.

Not even touching whether it should be a right to have any type of gun we want whenever we want one, can’t we all just agree that gun ownership is something we need to talk about putting some serious limits on?

people kill people. And we do have some serious limitations on gun ownership. problem is that people break the law and get them anyway.  And you can kill someone with a knife too. Sometimes kids take their parents medicine and OD. its never ending. We can blame things or blame the people that caused it. I could care less about guns personally, but people from rural places like their guns. they like to hunt and do that kind of thing. Plus, its pretty high up there on that constitution thing, but nobody seems to care that much about that anymore.  The right to have a gun was there for a reason. protection and to form militias to fight against a tyrannical and oppressive government. But, not like the hunting rifles out there could really do much to ward off the weaponry our government has anyway. But still…people kill people.

Let's keep bailing out banks and financial..

jmarie3:

..institutions, making sure the execs keep their bonuses and summer homes, while we lay off more and more people every day, just so those jackasses keep living a standard of life which they’re accustomed too.

So more and more people are losing their homes, NOT because they don’t want to pay their mortgages, but because they got laid off to subsidize the execs.

Another gunman is on the loose.  Most likely a laid off employee.  Expect more of this while the execs live in their glass towers, while people are starving, and can’t find work.

sometimes its as simple as not being able to qualify for the same mortgage they got a few years ago. I’m in that boat. Where i wanted to live was pricey (housing prices were way up afterall) only way i could afford it was an interest only loan…basically like renting, but i could deduct all the interest…works for me. Never missed a payment. But now you need 10-20% down. I can’t even get the same mortgage and don’t have that kind of cash to put in a potentially depreciating asset…I’d be dumb to do that too. So..what are my options in a year and a half? Don’t know. Probably selling my house at a loss or walking away, giving the house to the bank (its theirs anyway, i just live in it). Guess which one I’ll do? Guess what its not good for? the housing market…it will be yet another house for sale, driving supply up. The only thing many need is the loan…part of the so called bailout were supposed to give banks capital to provide loans. It hasn’t. Life goes on. I don’t need to live in that house to be happy. My credit will recover in a few years (plus there will be so many in the same boat that credit will kind of be graded on a curve anyway). I just don’t like being part of the problem instead of pulling my weight and keeping my promises (even to asshole banks).
